Been A Long Time.......

Please meet Sammi's bunny......."Sweetie Pie, Sugar Cookie, Jo, Oreo........yes that is what she named it. She and her daddy built a rabbit hutch for it. So far Daisy (her dog) likes the bunny, let's just hope it stays that way.

Sammi's Mom and Dad got her a 4-wheeler. I'm talking about one that has a motor (not battery operated). You can tell by Sammi's face she loves it. But I'm not crazy about it. They all say I'm worry too much....maybe I do, but that's just me.

Sunday, April 5th is Dad's birthday....he will be 72 years old....looks pretty good doesn't he? My Dad is the wisest man I know. Even at my age I still learn from him. I tell my kids and grandkids, "When Grandpa talks, listen, you will learn something." He is a wonderful man and father. Happy Birthday Dad.

Wow, I didn't realize it had been so long since I've posted. For those of you (besides Kenny) that check in here.......sorry.

I'm ready for nice weather, aren't you? Here are some of my favorite things about spring.
The smell of fresh mowed grass...
BBQ.....
Flowers.......
Sitting on my front porch....
Longer days.....
And of course taking the grandkids outside and letting them run.
Wishing everyone a wonderful and blessed day.

Some New News

Andrew at Grandma's house. The boy wears his sleeveless shirts and shorts year round. Brant and Shelly have to fight with him some when they go somewhere at times about wearing long pants and shirts.

Logan made the 6th All Tournament Team at the Stoddard County Tournament. He is #3.

Sammi and Mom at the ballgame

Logan's 6th grade team took first in the Stoddard Co Tournament.
I guess everyone is like me and ready for Spring weather. I'm ready to plant flowers, smell freshly mowed lawns, bbq, fish and play outside with the grandkids.
I went to a scrapbook class/crop this weekend and seen my Jackson buddies I haven't seen in a while. The afternoon flew by, but I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to the March together.
Take Care and God Bless

Logan's Basketball Team

Logan had his 12th birthday on January 17. He also had a basketball tournament that day. This picture isn't the greatest. I need a different flash for the gym. But this is his 6th grade team and the cheerleaders from his class. They placed second in the tournament.
Here's Logan with his medal (#3). He had a good birthday and is excited about being a "teenager next year" (He's so funny)
Kara (my sister) also had a birthday this month. Happy Birthday K-K. We love you.
Lots of ice and snow around here right now. Hopefully I'll get some pics taken and share with you. We don't have power at our house, been out for three days now. But we do have a generator so we are luckier than some people.
Have a great weekend

3 in one day......I'm on a roll

I enjoyed Saturday and Saturday Night with Little Mister Caleb. Logan was in a basketball tournament at Chaffee so Caleb stayed with me, so of course I had to take some pictures and I lovehow they turned out. We had so much fun. It's good sometimes to get one on one time with each of the grandkids and this was Caleb's time.

I love this photo, because you can see the "one" tooth he has on the bottom. It looks so funny when he smiles and laughs.
QOTD: "The love we give away is the only love we keep."

Yep, 2 posts in 1 day

Here's some pictures from Christmas Morning..........It was so much fun to watch the grandkids opening their gifts. The pic above is Andrew with his new gun that Great Grandma Clara bought him. There's just something about a little boy getting a gun at Christmas that seems right.
When Sammi comes to our house she always wants to wear my glasses and I'm afraid my "Dollar General Store" glasses will hurt her eyes. So when I found these "Attitude Glasses" at the mall I just had to get a pair for her stocking. I'm going to get her some more for Valentine's Day. They have them in pink, red and white.

Our annual picture of the kids in front of the tree. I love these pictures. Someday they will all laugh about them.

Caleb didn't know what to think of his first Christmas. I think he was a little over whelmed. It was quite noisy. He just wanted Grandma to pick him up, so after the picture was taken I did.

And then there is Logan. He's at the age where pictures are not a priority with him. When I said, "Logan let me get your picture" this is what I got. Gotta love him.

Late Christmas Pictures

These pics are really late getting posted, but I wanted to show some of the ornaments I have on my tree. I love doing the picture ornaments and see the difference in the grandchildren from year to year. They grow so fast and are so much fun.
